Okay, most of you have already seen these on Facebook but if it isn't on my blog then it didn't happen. And my parents want to see these pics . . . I think. ;)
My 20 year class reunion was over a week ago and I think I am still recovering. I found out . . . four drinks is three drinks too many, and it takes my body at least a week to recover when staying up past 3 am two nights in a row. The following pics, while not the most lovely of me (alcohol, heat, sweat, and dancing don't exactly make for a good photo of me) will show you that I had a good time and I am glad that I decided to attend. I didn't decide to attend Sat. night's dance until Sat. I brought nothing to wear. Matt and I both had to shop on Saturday. I was exhausted. And dehydrated.
It was so good seeing some old friends and also reconnecting with people that I didn't know so well in school but have become better acquainted with on Facebook. Okay, the pics . . .
Friday night:
The color was really weird on these first photos of us, so I tried messing with them but wasn't so sucessful.
Have no clue what we were laughing at.
A poser:
(Matt, me, Bobby Lovelady, Tasha Gsell Quick, Tonya Waller, Terry)
Mike Majeske (Twinkie) and me. One of the nicest guys I have ever met. My sister and I nicknamed him "Twinkie", affectionately.
Julie Weese Gies and me. Julie and I were not the best of friends in high school, and that would be putting it nicely. One of the best things about growing up is GROWING UP! So good to see you, Julie.
And the most stunning girl at the reunion, Tonya Waller (she will be embarrassed that I wrote that, but I call them as I see them). She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. We didn't know each other very well in high school but have become friends on facebook! It's an amazing place to reconnect.
Tonya and her man, Terry.
Nick Robb and me. Was a good friend of mine, sort of a love/hate relationship. lol
Bryan and Heather (VanCleave) Johnson. We went to school together since elementary.
Kari Schafer (can't think of her married name) and her hubby (yep, don't know it either). Kari and I have the same maiden names and our dads are best friends but are not related.
Erin Albright Milek (her mother was my 2nd grade teacher), Kathy Schilling Ryan, Bryan Johnson, Bethany Parker Foster.
Amy Carneal, and David Jones (former mayor of St. Joseph and boyfriend to my sister and I). lol Okay, he was my 8th grade boyfriend and my sister dated him later.
Chris Huey (former student of my mother's) and David Poage
Tonya, Nichi Sollars Yeager (went to school together are entire lives) and me.
Tonya, Terry, Matt, and a tired looking me.
Twinkie and his sweet wife, Sonia.
Mom, I believe this is Maxine Clark's grandson. He was in the band. Looked like he just jumped off the screen of The Hangover.
Tonya, Terry, Lisa (Melton) and her husband Bozie Williams and Doug Lesan.
Whew! That was a lot of work.
Good times.
holy fun times! 20 years eh?
